FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Questions Parents Often Ask

How can Vhabily help my child study abroad?

We understand that sending your child abroad is a big decision. At Vhabily, we guide families through the process, from exploring suitable study destinations and choosing programmes to understanding admission requirements and preparing applications. We want you to feel informed and confident at every step.

How much does it cost to study abroad?

Every family has a different budget, and we understand how important it is to plan ahead. Costs depend on the country, university, programme, and lifestyle. We help you understand the expected tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses, travel costs, and other relevant expenses so you can make a decision that works for your family.

Will my child be safe abroad?

It is natural to worry about your child’s safety when they are far from home. We encourage families to carefully consider the destination, university, accommodation, healthcare access, and available student support services before making a decision. Our goal is to help you make an informed choice and prepare your child for life in a new environment.

Which countries can my child study in?

There are many study destinations to explore, each offering different opportunities. We provide guidance on options across Europe, Asia, North America, Australia, and Latin America. We help you consider which destinations may best suit your child’s academic goals, qualifications, and your family’s budget.

What programmes can my child apply for?

There are options for students at different stages of their educational journey. Depending on their qualifications and goals, your child may be eligible for language programmes, foundation studies, diplomas, undergraduate degrees, postgraduate degrees, or doctoral programmes. We help you understand the available pathways and their entry requirements.

Can my child get a scholarship?

Yes, scholarship opportunities may be available, depending on the destination, institution, programme, and your child’s academic profile. We can help you explore relevant opportunities and understand their requirements. Because scholarships are competitive, funding cannot be guaranteed, but we can help your family make informed choices about the options available.

Does my child need IELTS?

Not necessarily. Some universities require IELTS or another recognised language test, while others accept alternative proof of English proficiency or offer exemptions. The requirements depend on the institution and programme, and we help you understand what your child may need before applying.

Can my child work while studying?

This depends on the country, visa conditions, and applicable immigration rules. We help you understand the importance of checking work permissions before your child accepts employment. We also encourage families to plan for essential study and living expenses without relying entirely on income from a part-time job.

Can parents visit or accompany their child?

We understand that some parents would like to visit their children or explore whether they can accompany them abroad. Options vary by country, and some destinations have specific family or visitor visa arrangements. We can help you understand the relevant requirements, although your child’s admission does not automatically give you permission to enter or live in that country.

What if my child is under 18?

You can still explore study opportunities for your child, but additional requirements may apply. A parent or legal guardian must be involved and provide consent before Vhabily offers services to a minor. Depending on the destination and programme, there may also be specific rules for accommodation, travel, supervision, and guardianship.

Does Vhabily guarantee admission, scholarships, or visas?

We believe in giving families honest guidance and realistic expectations. Admission decisions are made by universities, scholarship decisions by funding providers, and visa decisions by the relevant authorities. While we support you and your child throughout the agreed service process, we cannot guarantee these outcomes.

How do we get started?

You do not need to have everything figured out before contacting us. Start by sharing your child’s academic background, preferred destinations, budget, and intended intake with our team. We will help you understand the available options and identify practical next steps for your family.
